I
am a social worker in the United States who started an international
adoption program from South Africa through a licensed adoption agency
in 2001.
Unfortunately, after a few years the program was closed due to
financial difficulties and complications with the Hague (an
international adoption treaty). Although the program has closed I
found a need for an information site dedicated to increasing the
knowledge about the needs of Africa’s AIDS orphans. This site was
created to serve as an informational source to all those interested in
learning more about the Orphan crisis in Africa, ways individuals can
help and organizations that are already working on helping.
